Grab Will Be Offering Free Rides From NAIA On These Dates

Grab Philippines has some good news for our balikbayans.

As part of the Department of Transportation and (DOTr) and Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB)'s Libreng Sakay Program, the ride-hailing service is offering free Grab rides from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in the second half of June.

"Malaking bagay itong Libreng Sakay mula sa Grab para sa ating mga pasahero upang agaran silang makauwi sa kani-kanilang mga tahanan. Nagpapasalamat tayo sa Grab sa inisyatibong ito na malaking tulong sa ating mga kababayan," said DOTr Secretary Arthur Tugade in a statement.

There will be 100 units deployed for the airport shuttle program. The free service, however, will only be available from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Passengers should also only book at the Grab booths at the arrival areas of Terminals 2 and 3.

Meanwhile, the Libreng Sakay Program for the Metro Rail Transit Line-3 has also been extended until the end of President Rodrigo Duterte's term on June 30.
