After six years, Rodrigo Duterte has stepped down as the country’s 16th President, passing the mantle of power on to the country’s new Chief Executive, Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. Although Duterte’s term was marked by numerous controversies, he leaves the office with some of the highest survey numbers for a President in recent memory.
