Pope Francis Prays for Filipinos Suffering After Devastation of Typhoon Ulysses and Rolly

From Vatican City, Pope Francis sent Filipinos a message of compassion in a Tweet on Sunday night, Philippine time.
He expressed his solidarity and offered his prayers for Filipinos who have suffered from the devastation wrought by Typhoon Rolly and Ulysses, which occurred within just two weeks of each other.
The death toll, now at 69, continues to rise as rescuers find more bodies as the floods subside and landslide rubble is cleared.
I am near in prayer to the dear people of the #Philippines who are suffering because of the destruction, and especially because of the flooding caused by a strong #typhoon. I express my solidarity to the poorest families and those who are doing all they can to help them.
