Yes, A$AP Rocky’s GUESS Collaboration Will Be Dropping in The Philippines

Last week, the local contingent of GUESS launched the brand’s Spring 2017 Collection, together with the GUESS Originals 1981 Capsule Collection. The latter is a refreshing throwback to GUESS’s heyday, because as the name implies, they’ve derived from their archives to celebrate 35 years since the all-American denim brand first took root. Stonewash denim and large logos dominate the collection, strongly referencing the GUESS of the 80s and 90s, when the brand was truly at the top of its game.

But along with the launch of these collections, GUESS representatives also let us in on even better news: They’ve confirmed that we will, in fact, be getting the highly-coveted A$AP Rocky x GUESS Originals collaboration a little later this year. And while they haven’t confirmed exactly when it will drop (“maybe” June 2017), they did mention that the collection will be extremely limited, pricier than mainline GUESS, and that only very few stores will carry it.

Not much else is confirmed about the collection’s release, so for now, the Philippine chapter of the A$AP Mob can only wait. In the meantime, round up all of your pretentious friends who added the “A$AP” prefix to their Instagram handles back in college: A$AP Paolo, A$AP Iñigo, and A$AP Jun-jun—and together you can fawn over these photos of what will surely be a hyped release.
