Balenciaga Is Done, Done With Kanye West

We are witness the fall of Kanye West. Following his latest anti-Semitic comments and long laundry list of controversial bullshit, even Balenciaga has cut ties with him (hell, even Donald Trump reportedly thinks Ye is acting "too crazy" these days). But we're guessing this is the least of his concerns.

"Balenciaga has no longer any relationship nor any plans for future projects related to this artist," Balenciaga's parent company Kering told fashion news site WWD. That's says a lot coming from the Paris-based fashion brand. 

For the past couple of weeks, Ye has been on a rampage and not the good or cool kind. We know he's a provocateur but this is beyond that arthouse crap. Earlier this month, he showed up for Yeezy at Paris Fashion Week and sported a "White Lives Matter" shirt with Candace Owens (yes, that Candace Owens). Ye had also trashed former colleagues and friends, as well as, of all people, George Floyd.

In the prior month, Ye had announced he'd broken off his relationship with Gap because they were said to be going in different directions. JPMorgan Chase broke ties with him, as well. Adidas, on the other hand, claimed that it was reviewing their partnership with Ye "under review."

Ye had actually modeled for Balenciaga last month, sporting a military-style fit because that's a thing now. The said images of him in a mud pit have been removed from the Balenciaga website.

Twitter and Instagram, on the other hand, have restricted West's accounts after a series of rants about Jewish people, random beefs, and a lot of other wacky stuff. We miss the Old Kanye, man.
