Levi's Dipped Into Its Own Archives For Its Latest Collection
Levi's has a long history—so long that the brand has an archive that goes back 149 years. For its latest collection, Levi's decided to dip into its own archives and go a step further to reinvent and reimagine fits from the '80s, '90s, and early 2000s. The collection, called Archives Reinvented, focuses on straighter and more relaxed styles for men.
"This season, we've been really inspired to look back at our history and delve into our archives
with a fresh lens enabling us to reboot some of our popular styles from the past," says Janine Chilton-Faust, vice president of global men's design at Levi's Strauss & Co. "For men, we're
focusing on straighter and looser fits, and even playing with a few exaggerated XL proportions.
It's what you remember of your favorite Levi's® styles of the '90s and 2000s but done in shapes
and styles that makes it right on point for today."
