Montblanc's Latest Campaign Embraces London's Literary Legacy
Montblanc, renowned for its elegant writing instruments, is shining a spotlight on London and libraries. In its latest campaign, titled "The Library Spirit," the German luxury company invites us to journey into the world of books and imagination.
"In this second episode of The Library Spirit, the London spirit encourages us to embrace timeless classics but make them our own, repurposing them to suit our own style and subverting the expected," said Montblanc artistic director Marco Tomasetta.
Shot by Mariano Vivanco, the campaign, which stars James Norton, Karen Elson, and Arthur Gosse, is set at The London Library. The library counts Charles Dickens and Charles Darwin as founding subscribers, and is recognized as one of the world's leading literary institutions—making it the perfect backdrop for the campaign.
Some of the highlights are the Meisterstuck Around The World in 80 Days Doué Classique Fountain Pen and the Soft Mini Bag, which has an external writing instrument holder because, you know, fashion meets function. There's a watch too, the Montblanc 1858 Iced Sea watch, of course.
