Polo Ralph Lauren's New Pride Collection Donates a Portion of Its Proceeds to a Good Cause

June 2019 isn't just Pride Month. This year's annual celebration of the LGBTQIA+ communities marks its 50th anniversary, and fashion brands everywhere are stepping in not only to celebrate its beauty, but to give back to the community that it champions.
That's what Ralph Lauren is doing with Polo's new Pride collection. The assortment of gender-neutral, rainbow-Polo-Pony-equipped tees, hoodies, polo shirts, and more aren't just made to help you celebrate Pride stylishly—it's also giving back a portion to its proceeds from the capsule to various LGBTQIA+ organizations around the world. The collection is available in youth sizes as well.
This isn't the brand's first effort in supporting these communities either. Polo Ralph Lauren has also backed up organizations like the Hetrick-Martin Institute, amfAR, AIDS Walk New York, God’s Love We Deliver, and the Elton John AIDS Foundation through the years.
Not only can you help continue its efforts by shopping the new collection, you can go forth with the confidence you're doing so stylishly. The new capsule includes bright white hoodies with rainbow polo logos, monogrammed polos with rainbow collars, a T-shirt, a hat, and a tote bag.
You'll notice a few notable faces throughout Polo's campaign for the collection, too. Included in the photoshoot were Olympic medalist and activist Gus Kenworthy; ballet dancer Harper Watters; writer, comedian, and actress Patti Harrison; photographer and model Jacob Bixenman; and actress Josie Totah.
Polo's new pride collection is available globally in stores and online May 21. Cheers to Pride 2019—and happy shopping.
