Design Lovers Gather For an Interactive Afternoon at Manila's Newest Luxury Home Store
Any authority in the home and lifestyle business knows that to further appreciate and learn about a product, one must be immersed in it. That’s what the creative minds at Kuysen Enterprises had in mind when they established the Kuysen Design & Experience Center, an impeccably designed structure by architect Ed Calma, situated at an accessible corner on Jupiter Street, Makati.
Town & Country Philippines invited a number of design-loving professionals to an interactive afternoon that stimulated all the senses. In partnership with AXOR the event introduced guests to the latest innovation in bathroom fixtures—the top-of-the-line AXOR ShowerHeaven. This luxury shower system features the brand's signature PowderRain, which produces droplets so small and evenly distributed that they delicately caress the skin. The AXOR ShowerHeaven stands out for its four "wings," which open up on two sides to meet at the center.
The Town & Country editors were able to try the AXOR ShowerHeaven ahead of the event, which was indeed an impressive bath experience with a total of five different water streams that completely envelop the body when used simultaneously. This makes the overall experience of the AXOR ShowerHeaven ideal for a soothing head-to-toe bath that covers all areas.
Users also have the option to switch on each of the shower features one by one with the simple push of a button. The relief and relaxation the shower provides is similar to an after-spa feeling, something that reminds you that luxury truly comes in the simplest forms.
During the event, friends of T&C were given a firsthand feel of the shower at one of the displays, while the rest of the products offered by Kuysen were showcased in styled vignettes.
After a quick tour and introduction to the highlight of the fifth-floor showroom, guests were invited to take a look at the Shower World, a room dedicated for guests of Kuysen to try out the various showerheads and body spray jets for themselves. They were later invited to set an appointment at Shower World on the day of their choosing.
Shortly after, guests were invited to a sit-down lunch prepared by chef Gilbert Pangilinan and the Kai Catering team. Each course on his “Senses Menu” was meant to engage one of the five senses.
