Bianca Bustamante Just Captured Her First Victory at F1 Academy
Filipinos in racing is a rarity. But up-and-coming talent like Bianca Bustamante is hoping to change that notion in the near future. Recently, the 18-year-old racer captured her first win at F1 Academy, a first for Filipinos.
Bustamante won in the second race of Round 2 at Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, Spain. Her group, PREMA Racing Team, would get its third win of the season, as well. She led the 11-lap race from start to finish, withstanding a late surge by Bühler and MP Motorsport’s Hamda Al Qubaisi to bag the win.
