Chester Cabalza is the president and founder of the Manila-based security and geopolitical think tank International Development and Security Cooperation. He is the author of the "The Rise of Philippinedization," “Perspectives on Terrorism in the Philippine Context”, and “Philippine Territorial Defense." Cabalza also won the International Federation of Social Science Organizations Prize for Social Sciences and the Humanitarian Award from Rotary International.
