The Internet Swears They Heared 'Phili-Zuela' in Miss Supranational Top Five Announcement

The hearts of the Filipino pageant fans stopped for a moment when the last name of the candidate in the Top 5 of the Miss Supranational 2021 pageant was called.

The name of the Philippines has not yet been called, with the candidate being Dindi Pajares.

Dindi made it into the Top 24 and advanced to the Top 12. Fans hoped that she would make it into the Top 5.

Dominican Republic, Namibia, South Africa, and Puerto Rico were already called.

When the last name was announced, Filipino fans expected “Philippines” to be called, but Venezuela (Valentina Sanchez Trivella) was called.

Many Filipino fans were confused as they insisted on hearing “Phili-Zuela” from one of the hosts, wondering if there was another "Steve Harvey moment."

The host of the pageant was Polish singer Anna Matlewska and Polish vlogger Ivan Podrez.

Pageant enthusiasts and vlogs posted the Top 5 results.

However, netizens asked if they were the only ones who thought they heard “Phili-Zuela.”

It turns out that many have also heard this.
