Rachelle Ann Go Will Play Eliza Hamilton at the Philippine Show at Solaire
From the Philippines to West End and back again, Rachelle Ann Go is returning to the Philippines to reprise her role as Eliza Hamilton in the upcoming international tour of Hamilton. The Filipino theater actress, who is now based in London, originally played Elizabeth Schuyler Hamilton at the West End run of Hamilton from 2017 to 2019. Now, after four years, Rachelle Ann Go will step back into the shoes of Eliza, this time in her home country of the Philippines.

On September 17, Hamilton’s International Tour will kick off in Manila at The Theatre at Solaire. Brought to the Philippines by GMG Productions, the Philippine leg of the global tour will run until November 26, before departing for the Abu Dhabi leg in the United Arab Emirates.
“Excited ako to perform in front of our kababayans and to share the story of this musical with everyone,” said Go to ABS-CBN News. “Kung ako yung Rachelle Ann before, siguro mas matatakot ako at mas kakabahan ako. But now I feel like, I’ve done this show before and I feel like I’m gonna enjoy it in front of Pinoys.”
After her run as Eliza in the West End, Go went on to play Fantine in Les Miserables at Sondheim Theater from 2020 to 2021. From 2022 to 2023, the theater actress reprised her role as Fantine for the international tour of Les Miserables. The last time Go performed in the Philippines was in 2016 as Fantine at Les Miserables’ run at The Theatre at Solaire.

The international tour company of 34 performers is completed by Claire Abaijah-Griffin, Kirrah Amosa, Curtis Angus, Kyla Bartholomeusz, Taylor Broadard, Trey Curtis, Aniya Danée, Lachlan Dearing, Winston Hillyer, Indigo Hunt, Marcus John, Julian Kuo, Iosefa Laga’aia, Ashton Lash, HaNy Lee, Terrance Martin, Trevor Miles, Eliza Ohman, Callan Purcell, Joshua Rivera, Wesley Ryan, Emmy Saheki, Terrance Spencer and Dayton Tavares.
