Following the success of Bar Boys: A New Musical and Mula sa Buwan, Barefoot Theatre Collaborative (Barefoot) is bringing We Aren't Kids Anymore to the Philippine live theater stage for a limited four-week run in May at the Power Mac Center Spotlight Blackbox Theater in Circuit Makati.

About We Aren't Kids Anymore

We Aren’t Kids Anymore, crafted by the innovative mind of Drew Gasparini, is a coming-of-age musical that captures the essence of growing up: a journey marked by uncertainty, discovery, and the pursuit of dreams. Originally an autobiographical tale, it delves into the intricate tapestry of emotions that define our existence through the lens of five distinct perspectives.

Featuring a poem by Keith White with orchestrations and vocal arrangements by Justin Goldner & Drew Gasparini, it premiered at Christopher Newport University, Virginia, in 2019.

The upcoming Manila staging features Gab Pangilinan, Maronne Cruz, Gio Gahol, Luigi Quesada, and Myke Salomon.

Pangilinan recently marked a successful decade in the industry through a two-night, sold-out solo concert on Valentine's weekend at the Globe Auditorium BGC Arts Center titled This Is Not a Musical. She is most known for headlining several musicals: Mula sa Buwan as Roxane, Ang Huling El Bimbo the Musical as Young Joy, The Last Five Years as Cathy, and more.

Cruz previously performed as Josephine in Ako si Josephine, Gabbi in Sa Wakas, Jeanie in Hair, and Julia in The Band's Visit.

Gahol's acting resume includes both the big screen and live theater. He received several nominations for Sila-Sila (2019, dir. Giancarlo Abrahan), and has performed in Walang Aray, Laro, and Under My Skin. Gahol is also a choreographer.

Quesada played the following roles: John Darling in Peter Pan: A Musical Adventure, Julian in The Great Christmas Cookie Bake-Off, and Tobias Ragg in Sweeney Todd.
