Who Is Jeremy Jauncey and How Did He End Up Marrying Pia Wurtzbach?
When Miss Universe 2015, actress, and model Pia Wurtzbach and all-around travel guru, social media hunk, and businessman Jeremy Jauncey met in 2019, it was apparently love at first sight. Jauncey and Wurtzbach met at Covent Garden in London, which kickstarted quite the romance.
The beauty queen lived there for a decade before moving to New York while the entrepreneur and social media guru was vacationing with family in the city. They'd go to Hong Kong not long after, where they reportedly had their first kiss. By June 2020, the pair went public with their relationship. Since then, they've been traveling the world together and are best known as one of the most endearing couples on this side of the Filipino internetscape. After a pretty swift engagement, they're now husband and wife. Each has led a pretty interesting life before all this. Jauncey's, however, often doesn't get talked about enough.

In a birthday greeting for Jauncey in 2022, Wurtzbach wrote: "I honestly thought a love or relationship like this didn’t exist but he proved all my doubts and insecurities wrong. Jeremy is the most loving, supportive, and hardworking person I know. He’s goal-oriented, always going after new achievements."
She further stated: "He takes care of everyone around him. I feel so safe in the relationship, that I can be my true silly self (and that it’s okay for the world to see that) and I never ever doubted his loyalty and faithfulness, which is honestly the best feeling for a girl and even when work gets stressful for him, he never treats me differently. He still laughs at my stupid jokes."
The two eventually tied the knot on March 24, 2023, but only announced it this May. In a video posted on their Instagram accounts, which was shot by Michael Gray (mikevisuals), the two are seen posing together with the track "Gabriel's Oboe" by Italian composer Ennio Morricone playing in the background. It was an intimate ceremony with only a handful of attendees at North Island, a luxury resort located in the Republic of Seychelles.
In a past interview with PEP, Wurztbach has gone on record to say that she's always wanted a private wedding ceremony.
"I know for sure that I want... People are gonna be surprised if they find out that what I want is a really intimate, simple wedding," she said. "I feel like I come to a lot of events like this where you have like a whole team with you. But I want the exact opposite for that day. I want it so simple, so intimate."
It looks like she got what she wanted and then some.
