The Bible is a funny thing. For all the lessons and wisdom found in scripture, humans still manage to twist the words to fit their own narratives. It’s the transition from written to spoken word when meanings get lost in translation, and hidden agendas come into play. Say what you will about religion, but you can’t deny it’s often the followers of faith who warp the intentions of the Bible, the Quran, and every other religious text. There’s a word for those types of people, who we’ve all encountered at least once: hypocrites.
