The Specialty Dynasty Xiao Long Bao, available in eight distinct flavors, is definitely a must-try. While the possibilities for flavor combinations are endless, Paradise Dynasty thoughtfully chose to offer eight varieties (original, ginseng, crab roe, foie gras, black truffle, cheese, garlic, and Szechuan), a number considered auspicious in Chinese culture. Notice too that when the waiters open up the xiao long bao baskets, they put the lid on the side so that it resembles the number eight.

In a previous interview with Esquire Philippines, Paradise Group CEO Eldwin Chua reveals that making the xiao long bao with color takes a lot of effort. "To maintain the consistency is not easy. We have perfected delivering the colors of the dumplings. These are all-natural, we use spinach, beet root, carrot juice, squid ink to get the colors right every time," he said.
