P326 Million Science Terminal and Exhibit to Rise in Bicutan
A Science Terminal and Exhibit Center will soon rise at the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Compound in Bicutan, Taguig City.
Built at a cost of P326 million, the project of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) held its groundbreaking ceremony on Tuesday, July 5.

The terminal building aims to “address the traffic congestion and commuter woes in Bicutan by building an integrated terminal,” according to a statement issued by Public Works Director Nomer Abel P. Canlas.
Five years after its first conceptualization and series of meetings, a science exhibit center was later added to the plan. The science center aims to “spark interest to the commuting public, especially to students, to pursue an education and career in science.”
The five-storey building will rise in a 13,680 square meter area at the DOST Compound. The first three floors will be dedicated to the public transportation hub while the upper two levels are the executive offices and the Science and Technology Exhibit Center.
Once completed, the structure will be the first of its kind in the country. It is expected to be completed by the middle of 2023.
