It's always extra frustrating to get stuck in standstill traffic on a weekend. Well, make sure to prepare your routes in advance as the Department of Public Works and Highways released a traffic advisory yesterday, August 31, announcing road repairs around Metro Manila. Road reblocking is scheduled until 5 a.m. on Monday, September 3.

Motorists are advised to avoid the following roads and take alternate routes:

Southbound

  • EDSA, in front of Francesca Tower to Scout Borromeo, third lane from the center island

Northbound

  • EDSA, before North Avenue, sixth lane from center island
  • A.H Lacson Avenue cor. Aragon Street and corner P. Florentino Street, Manila
  • Batasan Road, before Payatas Road, second lane, Quezon City
