Heart Evangelista's Essentials for Stylish Living
While we often see actress, artist, and fashion icon Heart Evangelista traveling the world, she delights in the simple pleasures of home life. She said so herself at the launch of Le Pont Residences, RLC Residences' premium high-rise property located in Bridgetowne Destination Estate (BDE) in Pasig City.
The property debuted its first tower in 2023 and offers convenient city living, thanks to its proximity to offices, premium mall, and other establishments within the estate.
As RLC's brand ambassador since 2020, Evangelista perfectly embodies its mission of elevating living experiences through innovative design.

During the media Q&A, the style influencer shared some of her non-negotiables when choosing a home. "I don't want to feel constricted or suffocated, so a high ceiling is very important. It exudes grandeur," she says, highlighting how RLC successfully integrated this into the Le Pont model units. She also loves that the units are well-spaced, as this allows for easy rearrangement of furniture, something she takes pleasure in doing.

Known for her sophisticated style aesthetic, Evangelista also generously shared some styling and home improvement tips to add a touch of luxury to one's home.
"Adding beveled mirrors makes a big difference," she suggests. She adores the French vibe, which can be achieved with splashes of white and intricate wall moldings. "White and off-white colors make a space look mabango and spacious," she adds.
Speaking of space, one should steer clear of solid structures in the house as they can limit the available space. Instead of putting up a wall partition, she suggests using curtains—preferably a mix of sheer and solid—to create an open space and add more dimension to a home.
Having a high ceiling is definitely preferred. "You can do that with a little bit of renovation," she says. "Kahit yung sa gitna lang ang mataas."
But Evangelista believes that style is also a state of mind. "Nasa pagdadala lang 'yan," she says, flaunting her stockings bought from Chatuchak market. More important than making your home look luxe, says Evangelista, is what you surround yourself with, if your home inspires you to wake up and feel great. "If you're aiming for luxury, then you should be looking at [Le Pont]."

"Of course, your home has to make you feel comfortable and at home. I love the way minimalism looks on Instagram or Pinterest, but it’s not who I am. I tried it out, but I wasn't happy," she says. "It's like dressing up—everything you put there has to have a story and a connection. It may look cluttered to others, but if it looks beautiful to you, that's what matters. There are no rules."
"Her favorite spot at home is the second floor, where she has a small living room and keeps her little knickknacks and abubots. "I feel like I can look at my entire life in that one room," she says.
