Yes, for a couple of millions you can live quietly and remotely away from all of Manila's hustle and bustle. (For comparison, prices in Forbes Park currently go for P250,000 to P500,000 per square meter.) You can maybe even start your own wilderness YouTube channel while you're at it. Let's start with something small and cheap. (If you're looking at private islands, that is.) Cornered by Coron and Bugur Island, Sand Island is a two-hectare "idyllic island with sandy beaches." Not only is it a manageable size, it's also only 20 minutes away from Coron by speedboat.
