Every year, the firm scores brands by asking survey participants what they are most likely to recommend to acquaintances. The most recent data was collected between January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2019.
According to YouGov, "All brands had to have a minimum sample of 100 and had to have been tracked for at least 12 months to be included in the ranking." Through the rankings, brands are able to get actionable data about attitudes and behaviors. But, it's also pretty interesting as consumers to see the top brands in the Philippines.
Samsung, whose products include appliances and smartphones, figured at the top spot in the country. Unsurprisingly, everyone's favorite retail brand Uniqlo landed in second place, while life insurance group Pru Life took third as the only company of its category on the list.
