What We Hope to See When Avengers: Endgame Returns to Theaters With New Footage

Have you seen Avengers: Endgame yet? Have you? Did you see it? Did you go see it yet? Well? Did you?
If you have become sick of the never-ending onslaught of Avengers news, well, congratulations—you may never find peace in this modern world. Marvel Studios mastermind Kevin Feige announced at a press junket for the upcoming Spider-Man: Far From Home that Endgame will be coming to theaters once again, and this time, there's going to be seven minutes of new footage. Seven. That's 420 extra minutes of Avengers.
Comicbook.com reported that the Endgame extended cut will include footage that wasn't included in the prior theatrical release, and Screenrant has since learned that there will be a "marketing push" at the end of the movie, a tribute to Stan Lee, a "deleted scene," and a "few surprises."And, yes, as expected, Feige confirmed with Screenrant that there will indeed be a post-credits scene! No word yet if there will be more shawarma this time around.
The whole thing is happening "next weekend," according to Feige. So, if what he says is true, that means the Endgame bonus cut will come to theaters starting somewhere around Friday, June 31 and play through the July 4 week alongside Spider-Man: Far From Home which is set to premiere on July 2.
The question is, what, exactly, might we see in these seven minutes of unreleased footage? If we assume that the Stan Lee tribute lasts about 2-3 minutes, and the deleted scene is about 1 minute (single scenes usually don't last too long in these big blockbusters), what could we see in the remaining 3-4 minutes of "marketing push" and "few surprises?"
It's likely that we'll get a glimpse of the Black Widow solo film, since that one is debuting in May 2020, which is less than a year from now. Perhaps the new Marvel hero known as "Shang Chi" will get shown off, with a sizzle reel demonstrating his kung fu superpowers (Marvel's been developing a film based on the Asian-American hero for a while now). And certainly Marvel may finally be ready to show off some of the goodies they have in store for the upcoming Disney Plus streaming service.
What do we want from the new footage? That's easy. We'd like 20 minutes of Fat Thor playing Johnny Cash covers of Nine Inch Nails songs. Then, we want to see what would happen if Ant-Man shot himself into Thanos' ass, and then expanded and destroyed the big purple bad guy. Come on, Marvel. Give the fans what they want.
