As Maria Clara and Ibarra shifts from Noli Me Tangere to El Filibusterismo, the series treats us with fresh spoilers to the Jose Rizal adaptation, including our first look at Dennis Trillo, who completely transforms from Crisostomo Ibarra into Simoun.

GMA Network had recently published the new music video of "Babaguhin ang Mundo" by Julie Anne San Jose. With it comes, a silver long-haired man who we can recognize as Trillo, doing his best Simoun impression. The clip ends with Trillo decked out in brown silk clothes and a gun pointing at the audience. The results speak for itself.

There are some new faces added to the mix, as well. We are introduced to new cast member Khalil Ramos, who we could only suspect to be Basilio all grown up. He is observed to be laying on a grave in a forest. We've had clues, of course.

A week ago, we watched Stanley Abuloc's Basilio come to grips with his mother Sisa's death, buried somewhere in what we could say is the same forest. Ramos looks to be a major player in the second half of the show, considering that Basilio and Simoun would form quite the duo in El Fili.

Trillo has been amazing in the role, as per viewers and critics alike. He's given us some pretty memorable monologues, too. We can expect to see him shine some more as the jeweler, seeking revenge for the sins against him, his father, and Maria Clara.
