New Look at Harry Styles and Florence Pugh in Don't Worry Darling
Don't Worry Darling stars Harry Styles and Florence Pugh appear in a new photo from the psychological thriller.
Directed by Olivia Wilde (Booksmart), the movie visited CinemaCon in Las Vegas this week, screening a full-length trailer for attendees.
Via Deadline, we know that Black Widow's Pugh stars as housewife Alice in this one, whose husband Jack (that's Styles, fresh from cameoing in last year's Eternals) works for the enigmatic Victory Project—promising to change the world as we know it.
On stage at the convention, Wilde teased how her latest film is reminiscent of "Inception, The Matrix, [The] Truman Show. It's my love letter to the movies that pushed boundaries of ambition."
She then asked the crowd to "imagine a life where you could have anything you ever [wanted], not just the tangible things... but also the things that really matter: true love with the perfect partner, real trusted friendships.
"What would it take for you to give up that perfect life? What are you willing to sacrifice to do what's right? Are you willing to dismantle the system that is designed to serve you?"
Earlier this month, Styles himself opened up about shooting his first-ever sex scenes for Don't Worry Darling.
"All I can say from my own experience is that I was very lucky to have a very trusting relationship within the people that we were working with and that kind of came first.
"It was all discussed and all of it was very kind of, 'OK... above the filming, above everything that's happening with the cameras, with me and you, we're doing this together, we trust each other and at any point we can stop and all that kind of stuff,'" he said.
