Manny Pacquiao Is Appearing on Korean Variety Shows Now, Too
Manny Pacquaio's career post-politics has him traveling all over Europe, spending more time with his family, and now appearing on South Korean television. Now that's some half-man, half-amazing stuff right there.
On Saturday, October 15, Pacquiao appeared on a teaser for the variety show Knowing Bros. In the trailer, Pacquiao tells the class "who's the boss here?" Of course, he just had to confront host and Korean traditional wrestling guy Kang Ho-dong.
Uploaded by TV network JTBC on Youtube, we can observe the Filipino boxing great showing off a little bit of those old moves. We can also see him in the show's school uniform (it's whole thing is that the entire show functions as a classroom of sorts).
The show usually has hosts interview guests in, well, uniform, airing on the weekends. Its gimmick is that the guests are supposedly some transfer students. Hence, the knowing part of the title. Games and improv acting usually come in the latter portion of the program.

With him, too, is our beloved adopted Filipino K-pop superstar, the venerable Sandara Park. Kim Yohan of WEi is a guest, as well.
This also isn't the first time Pacquiao has appeared on Korean TV. He was invited once as a guest for a show called Infinite Challenge back in 2017.
Of course, the real reason he's in South Korea is because of a match with DK Yoo. Pacquiao is currently promoting an exhibition fight with the martial artist because, well, he can.
