'Smaller And Smaller Circles' Movie Gets A Release Date, Poster

After a long wait, the hotly anticipated film adaptation of F.H. Batacan's award-winning novel of the same name finally has its release date: December 6, 2017. The groundbreaking work of Filipino noir tells the story of two Jesuit priests who investigate a series of grisly murders of poor children in Payatas. It's also earned a Philippine National Book Award, and has been distributed and well-received by critics worldwide.

The film, directed by Raya Martin, started production in May 2016 and finished post-production around May 2017. It stars Nonie Buencamino and Sid Lucero as Fathers Gus and Jerome, with a cast that includes Carla Humphries, Bembol Roco, Christopher de Leon, and TJ Trinidad.

The Smaller And Smaller Circles film adaptation also got its first official movie poster last night:

Prior to the announcement, the film had been expected to join this year's Metro Manila Film Festival, but seeing as the MMFF starts on December 25, it looks like Smaller And Smaller Circles won't be joining the ranks of The Revengers and Meant To Beh.
