The Kingmaker Starts Streaming on iWant This May

There are many reasons movies, books, art pieces, and what have you still pop up about the Marcoses decades after the regime of the late Ferdinand Marcos came to an end. If you think you've covered all the bases when it comes to Imelda Marcos, the enigmatic Iron Butterfly that made up half of the dictatorship, think again. Lauren Greenfield's buzzworthy documentary The Kingmaker is slated to start streaming on May 15 on iWant.
It's free to watch—along with a slew of other documentaries—all you have to do is sign up.
The documentary tracks Imelda through the decades—and studies her position during the 2016 presidential elections. The Kingmaker itself created an expected buzz in the Philippines—especially when it premiered in, of all places, the Cultural Center of the Philippines on January 15. If you'd like to see for yourself how it fits into the narrative, then save the May 15 date.
Aside from The Kingmaker, iWant will be launching two other documentaries this May. Check out Matteo Guidicelli's scout ranger training with Ranger G, streaming on May 23 and find out what secrets our seas are keeping with two adventurers in Wreck Hunters, an iWant original series, streaming on May 9.
