Wonder Woman took home a record breaking $101M at the US box office this weekend, making it the biggest ever opening weekend for a female director.
A record that was previously held by Sam Taylor-Johnson for Fifty Shades of Grey - which grossed $85.1 million.
What's more, the superhero movie directed by Patty Jenkins grossed $223 million worldwide, making it one of the highest opening weekend for a solo-superhero debut beating the likes of Iron Man.
More than half of the audience were female too, in a genre that usually dominated by men. That will probably annoy the men who were put out by women-only screenings of the film last week...
The film has received a 93% score on Rotten Tomatoes, making it one of the best reviewed super hero movies FYI, so it's probably safe to say Wonder Woman your job here is done.
