Our favorite French pop-rock band who has had a love affair with their Filipino fans for years is coming back once again. Phoenix have been announced as one of the headline acts of Wanderland 2023 and to say we’re excited is an understatement.
The quartet of Thomas Mars, Deck D'Arcy, Christian Mazzalai and Laurent Brancowitz have been producing the soundtrack of our indie-pop dreams for years. No matter how many times you hear “1901,” “If I Ever Feel Better,” “Listztomania,” and even relatively newer trackes like “J-Boy,” and “Fior Di Latte,” they never get old and you’re never going to get raised eyebrows from your music nerd friends.

Phoenix just released their seventh and latest album, Alpha Zulu, earlier this month and it’s already gaining buzz as a return to form for the alt-rock heroes.
The brains behind Wanderland, Karpos, says, that Phoenix is only the first in a total of 11 acts to be announced in the lineup of the return of Wanderland in March next year. Consider us intrigued.
