People Who Cheat On Their Partner Are More Likely to Freak Out About Being Cheated On

You might think that if you cheat you're more likely to be a bit understanding if the same thing happens to you.

You would be wrong, according to a new study from Penn State University which examined infidelity in couples. The researchers took a group of teenage couples and monitored their relationships through their 20s and 30s.

They found that one in four had reported having extra-marital or extradyadic sex, with men being more likely to self-report their misdemeanors and women being more likely to report their partner's bad behavior.

The most interesting finding however was that those who actively cheat without their partners knowing don't like the idea of their partners doing it. Study author Michelle Frisco says," People seem to prefer to play the cheater over the cheated on."

So human beings would rather cause pain than have it inflicted on them? Never.
