On October 20, a video of two Brazilian sisters who fought over a birthday candle went viral. People couldn’t get over the reactions from the two sisters, with whom they immediately related to.
María Eduarda was celebrating her third birthday when her six-year-old sister Maria Antonia smugly blew her birthday candle, enraging the celebrant. The younger sister was inconsolable as she repeatedly yanked her sister’s hair.
According to the sisters’ aunt, Gabriela Aureluk, the family lit another candle for the younger sister after the viral scene, and the two enjoyed the cake together, as reported by Remezkla.
Aureluk also told Brazilian news outlet Hugo Gloss the altercation was a normal incident.
“It’s that relationship of sisters. One hour they are slapping, another time they are hugging.”
Two Sisters 500 Candles
The two sisters were invited to one of Brazil’s most popular Sunday news programs, Domingo Legal, in which they competed once again in blowing out 500 birthday candles.
