Game Never Stops: A Look Inside the NBA x Hennessy Arena at XYLO
The National Basketball Association (NBA) Finals might have just wrapped up, but that doesn't mean the spirit of the game should fizzle out, right?
In a finals match that featured an all-time great performance from the Joker, the NBA and Hennessy decided to double down on bringing the hoops frenzy out of the shiny arena setting and into much more fun, clandestine spaces. They're doing it for the culture off the court, too, you know.
And they found the perfect spot in one of our most venerated nightclubs, apparently. Yes, NBA and Hennessy collaborated to turn the fabled party den, our beloved Xylo, into a basketball court for a night of basketball (the unconventional way). Featuring drinks, music, dancing, and of course a whole lot of hoops, the whole shebang was the comeback of its "Game Never Stops" campaign. It was quite the night for the Hennessey Arena, to say the least.
Maybe sports and nightclubs do go well together. The crowd wilding, sweating, bumping, turning up... It makes sense, doesn't it?
The Hennessy Arena even hosted a 3x3 basketball tournament for good measure. Among those who played include Gilas Pilipinas Women's member Trina Guytingco, actor Gab Lagman, and athlete Carolina Sangalang, among others.
Ah yes, rave lights. Now that's one way to elevate the game.

For the Hennessy Arena's "Game Never Stops" campaign, the brands pulled all the stops. Hennessy brought out its world-class cognac.
NBA-themed cocktails are a thing. Here, we got conference-based drinks. For the vibes. “Great Lake Hoops,” “Parade on Atlantic,” and “Ultimate Float” at the East bar while “Big Tex,” “Calm Seas,” and “Mission City" at the West.
"Wazzaaaaap." It looks like someone had some fun.
The merch was a nice touch. Imagine playing pickup games at your local court in these. "Yes, I am a cultured Hennessy man. Now, let's bet on some pop, why don't we?"
DJ Khai Lim and DJ Ace Ramos certainly gave the crowd something to smile about this evening.
