Sonny Angara Pens Champion Anniversary Greeting for His Wife, Tootsy

Senator Sonny Angara made a slam dunk when it came to his anniversary greeting for his wife of 17 years, Tootsy.

“Sa basketball minsan panalo minsan talo. Sa iyo panalo forever — Happy Anniversary my love!!” 

His Facebook post accompanied an old photo of the couple at a Boston Celtics game.

It’s a double celebration for Angara today after his team beat the Miami Heat 117-106 in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals, narrowing the Heat’s series lead to 2-1.

Before that, for two days in a row, it was Angara’s son Manolo, who was on a roll, after the Celtics lost their first two games. Angara had to do 50 pushups each time his team lost, wearing a Heat jersey no less.
