What to Know About Boracay XPress and Its E-Trikes
The app, which is powered by Cebuana Lhuillier, will provide real-time updates and advanced booking features, promoting efficient and eco-friendly travel for both locals and tourists. "This initiative not only supports fair competition among e-trike operators but also creates job opportunities for the local community," the company said.
The app's key features include a live monitoring dashboard to ensure transparency and efficient management of transportation services; scam prevention to protect passengers from fraudulent activities; and a "scan and ride" feature, which allows for faster pickups through the use of a QR code.

Xpress also offers Emergency Training Response to boost riders' and drivers' confidence in handling emergency situations. Proven effective in Manila, where trained riders assisted in minor accidents, Xpress plans to implement this practice in Boracay to enhance safety and maintain reliable service.
The transport company also aims to help partner riders and drivers achieve financial independence through seminars enhancing financial literacy and entrepreneurial skills. Collaborating with Ka-GoNegosyo, led by Cebuana Lhuillier, Xpress works to advance this vision and contribute to the growth of the community.
The initiative is a collaboration between Xpress, the Boracay Local Government Unit (LGU), and the Boracay Land Transport Multi-Purpose Cooperative (BLTMPC).
