Swan Hellenic Brings Ultra-Luxury Cruises to the Philippines
Swan Hellenic, the expedition cruise line known for sailing to some of the world’s most remote regions, has entered the Philippine market.
The launch, hosted by Executive Resources Inc., its General Sales Agent in the Philippines, presented Swan Hellenic’s newest offering: two 11-night expedition cruises in 2026, both featuring the Philippines as a departure or arrival point—a first in the company’s 70-year history.
Founded in the 1950s, the British cruise line has long specialized in culturally immersive and scientifically enriching voyages. Its three ice-class ships—SH Minerva, SH Vega, and SH Diana—typically trace routes across the Antarctic, Arctic, Africa, and the Americas, and now, Southeast Asia.

“The Philippines offers a richness of nature and heritage that perfectly matches our spirit of discovery,” said Kenneth Chan, Head of Asia Sales at Swan Hellenic. “We’re proud to bring our guests here—not just to visit, but to experience the archipelago through a deeper, more meaningful lens.”
The brand’s first Philippine voyages are scheduled for 2026. The first itinerary, The Last Paradise on Earth (April 28 to May 9, 2026), begins in Sorong, Indonesia and sails through Raja Ampat before making its way to Pulau Miangas, Daku Island in Siargao, Bohol, the Camotes Islands, Cuatro Islas in Leyte, and Boac in Marinduque, eventually concluding in Manila.
The second voyage, Philippines to Japan: Cultural Discovery (May 9 to May 20, 2026), departs from Manila and travels north to Hundred Islands, Vigan, and onward to Batanes and Sabtang Island. From there, the route crosses into Japan, stopping at Zamami, Amami Oshima, Sakitsu, and Kagoshima, before ending in Hiroshima.
Each Swan Hellenic voyage is led by expert guides and includes lectures, cultural excursions, and scientific programs. Guests are invited to contribute to global research via the company’s Cruising4Oceans initiative, blending luxury travel with environmental awareness.
