This Charming Countryside Airbnb in Baguio Is a Favorite of Chefs for a Reason
If these walls could talk, right? The Country Place in Baguio is a home with a ton of character. It was once a private residence before it was transformed into a countryside villa of sorts, complete with a lush garden and scenic mountainside views.
Nowadays, it's become a home to strangers on their way to or coming from elsewhere. Situated at Dominican Hill Road, this Airbnb is a quaint, rustic home built for people who have come to loathe the restlessness of the old city. This is exactly the kind of home that just screams cottagecore, really.
We look around and see a space drenched in browns and textured finishes, in both wood (a lot of it) and stone, all of which create a warm, homey feel. Top-shelf wood and wrought iron were used to fix the space up, complementing the fireplace that ties all the elements together. There's a mix of both mid-century and French country styles here, from the garden and al fresco areas to the interiors. The balcony offers panoramic views, as well.
All these elements make for a cozy spot for the Baguio traveler.

Accessible through a hidden door underneath the staircase, a secret space in the home is adorned with pieces from the family's travels over the years. It also makes for quite the entertainment room. The fully functional kitchen is designed to mimic professional standards (or maybe a more Martha Stewart standard, really). Ingredients can easily be found at local markets around the area.
