Men's Health Startup GoRocky Secures Pre-Seed Funding

GoRocky, a Filipino startup focused on men’s health, has just secured an undisclosed amount during its pre-seed funding round led by Biko Ventures, IdeaSpace Investments, Pulse 63, and Kaya Founders.
Founded by CEO Kiyanusch Braun and COO Joaqui Palaña, GoRocky was created with the intention to destigmatize conditions related to men’s health and to empower men to seek treatment for chronic conditions like erectile dysfunction, hair loss, and skin issues.

“Many men suffer in silence from stigmatized conditions. They often avoid the issue, do not talk to their closest ones, and would not dare to talk to a doctor in person. We try to help men cross that bridge. GoRocky's mission is to break the silence surrounding men's health issues and make discreet, effective treatments readily accessible to all," said Kiyanusch Braun, CEO and co-founder of GoRocky.
According to GoRocky, 14 million men in the country experience erectile dysfunction, 16 million grapple with hair loss, and another 15 million struggle with skincare issues, but only a fraction seek treatment due to shame and embarrassment.
Joaqui Palaña, CCO and co-founder of GoRocky, added, "Our focus on destigmatizing these health conditions is at the core of GoRocky's mission. We believe that by providing accessible and discreet solutions, we are able to help men prioritize their health and well-being so they can be the best version of themselves."
To combat existing stigmas, GoRocky offers discreet, affordable, and accessible health treatments alongside online assessments, doctor prescriptions, and medicine deliveries. Male patients need to only fill out an anonymous questionnaire, which doctors will then evaluate before prescribing medication. And all of this happens as discreetly as possible.
Fresh off its funding round, GoRocky will use its new investment to develop and expand its platform with the goal of being the top men’s health provider in the Philippines and Southeast Asia.
