Backed by the Sinigang Valley Association, the program will give 10 select teams a shot at competing for a $150,000 investment prize. The winning team will be chosen by a panel of expert judges from Kaya Founders and the Sinigang Valley network. Meanwhile, all participating teams will have a chance to connect with mentors, investors, and experts in the Philippine startup ecosystem.

During the Manila Venture Program, entrepreneurs will go through a series of Agile Design Sprints with weekly deliverables to prepare themselves for Demo Day at the end of the accelerator program. The modules will cover product development, team building, product and business ideation, user validation, financial modeling, prototyping, market strategy, marketing campaign, and pitching preparation. Participants will only have 10 weeks to build and develop a minimum viable product, which will then be pitched to MVP’s panel of judges.

The Manila Venture Program will be accepting applications until March 31 and the official program will begin on May 15. The MVP program, which is 100 percent free, is open to first-time founders, solo entrepreneurs, and early-stage startups. Interested persons can apply to Kaya Founders’ MVP program here.
