Two Filipinos Compete in The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition

They stand to win the ultimate prize of P12 million.

ONE Championship (ONE), a global sports media property, has announced the addition of a line-up of ONE Championship athletes and World Champions who will join The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition’ as special guest stars of the reality television series. It will debut in March 2021.

ONE Heavyweight World Champion Brandon “The Truth” Vera leads an ensemble that includes ONE Women’s Atomweight World Champion “Unstoppable” Angela Lee, ONE Flyweight Grand Prix World Champion Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson, Indian wrestling champion Ritu “The Indian Tigress” Phogat“Super” Sage Northcutt, and ONE Women’s Strawweight World Champion “The Panda” Xiong Jing Nan.

An athlete is expected to guest star per episode and will participate in physical challenges that will test athletic ability and cardio endurance.

Two Filipinos Are Among the Contestants

Two Filipinos are included in the cast of candidates for the season: Lara Pearl Alvarez and Louie Sangalang. They are among the 16 contestants from around the world who will compete in challenges that will test their mental, psychological and physical limits to bag the ultimate prize: $250,000 or P12 million plus a job at ONE Championship as the chief of staff of business mogul Chatri Sityodtong, Founder, Chairman and CEO of ONE Championship.

This Apprentice edition will be quite unique because the contestants will deal with tough physical challenges over and above the usual “boardroom challenges”.
