Great Place to Work, a management consulting firm, has just released its list of the best workplaces in the Philippines for 2021. Using survey questions, the report analyzes participating employees' experiences through five dimensions: credibility, respect, fairness, pride, and camaraderie.

For this year's edition, Great Place to Work made it a point to include current workplace issues such as the culture of inclusivity, as well as the COVID-19 crisis. In addition to the survey, the report asked organizations about their practices, policies, and programs in response to the pandemic.

DHL Express ranked at the top for its implementation of strong safety protocols while caring for employees who contracted COVID-19. The company distributed care kits and implemented alternate schedules, and also had a medical team to call and check on sick and quarantined employees.

"Receiving this recognition from an esteemed organization such as Great Place to Work drives us to continuously improve as 'Employer of Choice'—enhancing our engagement with our Internal Superheroes, honing our agility to ensure their safety and wellbeing, and honoring their contributions to our network and our customers," said Nyrhayati Abdullah, country manager at DHL Express.

Synchrony Global, a subsidiary company that manages Synchrony’s call center operations and select back office support, took second place in ranking, while Canva Philippines figured at the third spot. Scroll down to see the rest of the top 10 below.
