Filipino Startup Kraver's Group Acquires The Six Pack Chef
In a bid to stay ahead of the ghost kitchen industry, Kraver’s Group, known for its successful ghost kitchen concept Kraver’s Canteen, has acquired The Six Pack Chef, Inc. (TSPC), a well-established healthy meal plan service for an undisclosed amount.
Founded in 2014 by duo Karl ‘Jude’ Boo and Katherine Campos, The Six Pack Chef was ahead of its time, operating as a "ghost kitchen" even before the pandemic popularized the term. A culinary school graduate and ACE-certified nutritionist, Boo used his expertise as a personal trainer to advise clients on the importance of healthy diets and fitness routines. His understanding of proper nutrition played a huge role in TSPC’s story.

“Physically speaking, the easiest way for the human body to get into shape is through a proper diet,” explains Boo. “Working out regularly definitely matters, but in all the body transformations that I have been a part of, I can confidently say that the ones who succeeded the most were those that were able to stick to their diet regiments.”
Recognizing that “healthy eating” can be monotonous, the company offers a broad range of products that ensures customers never get bored of nutritious food.
“The problem is, cooking healthy food regularly is a challenge, even for restaurant-quality chefs,” added Boo. “The basic nature of healthy ingredients, compiled with a pull-back on fats and flavors, greatly limits the amount of products that can be created, and it’s really easy to get tired of healthy dishes. That’s why our biggest and boldest value proposition is to make sure that we never offer the same product twice within a week, even rarely repeating within the month.”
Instead of experimenting with multiple food concepts, TSPC doubled down on what it does best. This customer-centric approach reflected a lifestyle value proposition that appealed to the Kraver’s Group.
“We like to think of the service more of a lifestyle value proposition than a typical food delivery service,” adds Victor Lim, co-founder of Kraver’s.
With Boo appointed as the Kraver’s Group’s Chief Operating Officer and Campos as Operations Director, they join Kraver's executive team, led by co-founders Victor Seunglee Lim (Chief Executive Officer), Eric Thomas Dee (Chief Product Officer), and Victor Mapua (Chief Financial Officer). The Board of Directors is currently comprised of influential figures such as Brian Cu, Christopher Po, Jeffrey Seah, Lance Gokongwei, and Paulo Campos.
Since merging, the pairing has achieved HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) certifications, the highest standards in food safety. The group has also expanded its services to include lifestyle-oriented offerings. These include serviced canteens in partnership with corporate offices and schools, such as Globe Tower, W City Center, Ateneo de Manila, Xavier School, and more.
The group has also launched its first overseas franchise in Cagayan de Oro (CDO).
Following the acquisition of The Six Pack Chef, Kraver’s Group aims to deliver high-value, high-retention food services in the Philippines.
