At This Year’s Asia Property Awards, Robinsons Land Corp Won Best Developer for the 3rd Straight Year
Real estate is a thriving industry in the Philippines, with many players fighting for a slice of the pie. Leading property tech company PropertyGuru has been putting the spotlight on some of the most noteworthy real estate companies across Southeast Asia through its Property Awards. The awarding ceremony has been going on since 20120 and has become one of the most prestigious citations in the realm of real estate.
The 12th edition of the PropertyGuru Property Awards happened last September 6 at Shangri-La at the Fort. Bagging the award for Best Developer was Robinsons Land Corporation. It was the third straight year that the real estate arm of the Gokongwei Group won the coveted honor.

In addition to the top honor, RLC also won Best Developer (Luzon). The company’s residential unit, RLC Residences, also had a strong showing—The Residences at The Westin Manila, won Best Branded Residential Development, Best Wellness Residential Development, and Best Lifestyle Condo Development.
“For The Residences at The Westin Manila, winning three awards this year is a remarkable achievement,” Sotelo added. “While we are incredibly proud of what we have accomplished with this project, these recognitions only inspire us to elevate it further."
Other developments of RLC Residences that received citations include Woodsville Crest (Highly Commended in the Best Condo Development-Luzon category); Galleria Residences Cebu (Highly Commended for Best High-End Condo Development-Metro Cebu; and Sierra Valley Gardens (Highly Commended for Best Smart Home Development).
RLC Residences was also Highly Commended for Best Lifestyle Developer, while Robinsons Land received the same citation for Best Sustainable Developer.
The company said it sees these awards as a reflection of its commitment to forward-thinking, as well as integrating smart home technology and green building principles into its developments. The brand recently affirmed its sustainability commitment via a pledge to deliver one million square meters of net-zero carbon and resilient condominiums by 2031, in partnership with International Finance Corp. (IFC).

Other awards for Developers and Developments at the 12th edition of the PropertyGuryu Awards were: Megaworld Corp for Best Developer-Visayas, Cebu Landmasters for Best Developer-Mindanao; Riverpark by Federal Land for Best Township Development; Parqal by DM Wenceslao and Associates for Best Mixed Use Development; Light Industry and Science Park IV by Science Park of the Philippines for Best Industrial Development; Uptown Mall by Megaworld Corp. for Best Retail Development; Grand Westside Hotel by Megaworld Corp for Best Hotel Development; Brittany Hotel Villar City by Brittany Hotels for Best Boutique Hotel Development; and Four E-Com Center by SM Offices by SM Prime Philippines for Best Office Development; Cybergate Iloilo Tower 3 by Robinsons Offices for best BPO Development; International Finance Center by Megaworld Corp for Best Green Office Development; The Estate Makati by SM Development Corp and Federal Land for Best Ultra Luxury Condo Development in Metro Manila; and The Seasons Residences by Sunshine Fort North Bonifacio Realty Development Corp for Best Luxury Condo Development in Mero Manila.
For the Design Awards, Riverpark by Federal Land won for Best Township Masterplan Design; Mitsukoshi BGC by Sunshine Fort North Bonifacio Realty Development Corp for Best Retail Architectural Design; The Spinnaker by Landco Pacific Corporation for Best Condo Architectural Design; Casa Mira Towers Guadalupe by Cebu Landmasters Inc; Alexa Heights for Best Housing Architectural Design; and The Hauslands Mabalacat by Hausland Development Corp for Best Affordable Housing Architectural Design;
Best Condo Development went to The Estate Makati by SM Development Corp and Federal Land, while Best Housing Development went to Maple Grove Park Village by Megaworld Corp.
The special ESG Developer Awards were won by Alveo Land for Social Impact; Megaworld Corp for Sustainable Design; PrimaryHomes for Sustainable Construction and Megaworld Corp for Energy Efficiency.
Meanwhile, for the Portfolio Awards, the winners were Megaworld Lifestyle Malls for Best Operational Retail Portfolio; Megaworld Premier Offices for Best Operational Officer Portfolio; and Megaworld hotels and Resorts for Best Operational Hospitality Portfolio.
A special Rising Star Award was handed out to Mariana Zobel de Ayala, senior VP and head of leasing and hospitality at Ayala Land Inc; while Manny V. Pangilinan, chairman and CEO of Metro Pacific Investments Corp won Real Estate Personality of the Year.
