Asian Hospital, Medical City, and St. Luke's COVID-19 Wards Are Full

Two more hospitals Metro Manila said their COVID-19 wards have reached full capacity on Monday, as the Philippines reported another all-time high in daily infections.

After St. Luke's Medical Center said COVID wards in Quezon City and Taguig were full, Muntinlupa's Asian Hospital Medical Center and Pasig's The Medical City also reported they could no longer cater to COVID cases.

"We are advising all suspect, probable, and confirmed COVID-19 patients to seek urgent care in other institutions in the meantime," Asian Hospital said.

Non-COVID patients, however, will still be catered to.

Also on Monday, the Department of Health reported a tally of 8,019 new COVID cases, a first for the Philippines. A GCQ bubble also took effect in Metro Manila, Bulacan, Laguna, Rizal, and Cavite on Monday to contain the surge.
