Adidas Originals Pairs Up With Porter For Bomber-Inspired Bags and Sneakers

Last year, it was a pair of NMD Chukkas, a shopping tote, and a waist bag. This year, Adidas Originals is reprising its long-time collaboration with the renowned Japanese masters of bags and luggage, Porter Yoshida and Company, with a pair of Adidas Campuses, a Porter Two-Way Boston Bag, and a Porter Three Way Briefcase.
All three pieces are done in slick black with orange accents and a small, bright blue tag, referencing one of Porter's recurring sources of inspiration: the MA-1 bomber jacket. The shoes are made with a combination of nubuck and Porter's signature "Tanker" flight satin textile. The bags are made from the high-grade nylon that Porter fans are familiar with, and are designed for maximum utility. The Three-Way Briefcase triples as a shoulder bag and a backpack, while the Two-Way Boston Bag doubles as a duffel.

It's a collection that works well to show why the collaboration between Porter and Adidas Originals is consistently on-point. The bags and sneakers are nice and understated in black, but the bright pops of orange give it personality without erring too much on the streetwear look. This is especially true of the briefcase, which is something that could work for CEO-level boardroom meetings, but also for casual stunting on the weekends.
The best part, of course, is that they're now available in the Philippines, through luxe label boutique Univers. The briefcase goes for a full retail price of P20,998; the boston bag goes for P23,998, and the Campus goes for P8,998.
