This 68-Year-Old TikTok Content Creator Will Inspire You to Dress Up
The fashion community on TikTok is filled with thousands of videos of women doing outfit transitions and sharing clothing hacks. So, it comes as a pleasant surprise when we stumbled upon 68-year-old Dada Tabuzo who has been going viral on TikTok for his street style OOTDs.
In an interview with Preview, Dada shares that he has always loved dressing up especially during his youth. Nowadays, he’s a fan of the younger generation's style, but was initially hesitant to dress up in such a way. However, with a gentle nudge from his grandkids, JJ and Calvin, he mustered enough courage to dress up as he wishes. He's even more motivated now to do so, after seeing the positive nods from other people who watch his videos. “Nakakatuwa 'pag nakikita ako ng mga teenager. Napapangiti sila at tinatawag ako na 'lolo drip,'" Dada adds.

When asked about his style inspiration, Dada also mentions @byGramps on Instagram, an elderly German fashion content creator, who also likes to dress in ways that aren't typically associated with the older generations. While luxury designer brands aren't on Dada's priority list like Gramps, he does like to support and invest in pieces created by local streetwear brands.
