Contemporary menswear is finally embracing a more adventurous approach to colors, patterns, and cuts, and nowhere is this more apparent than with graphic prints.

Granted, all of those zigs, zags, swoops, and jolts of color can make introducing prints into your wardrobe feel like a daunting task, so we've curated a range of sophisticated graphic styles that are sure to add a splash of adventure to your wardrobe without sacrificing on polish.

From ties to shirts to track jackets, here’s how to incorporate graphic prints into every look.

1| The After-Work Look

One great way to conquer the ambiguous "after-work" fit is with the tried-and-true formula of a blazer and jeans. To give it some pop, mix the two with a graphic print shirt. It’s a look that you can easily transition from a day of meetings to a casual happy hour with colleagues.

2| The Athletic Look

When it comes to graphic prints, few styles work as well as athleisure. That said, it’s best to stick with one print piece at a time and keep everything else dialed down. A bold print track jacket with solid track pants and a pair of all-white sneakers is a pro move that'll ensure you look good without giving everyone else vertigo.

3| The Formal Look

I.N.C. tie, I.N.C. shoes, Calvin Klein blazer, and Calvin Klein pants.

The words “formal” and “graphic” don't often go together, but the trick is to keep the graphic portion of the program low-key—like, say, with a subtle printed pattern on your tie.

Pair that with a well-tailored suit in a dark, solid color (black or charcoal preferably, although navy can work in a pinch), a crisp white poplin dress shirt, and polished black Oxfords.

4| The Vacation Look

I.N.C. shirt, I.N.C. blazer, I.N.C. pants, Kangol hat, Nike shoes.

For an upscale warm-weather outfit, try mixing a graphic print shirt with a light-colored suit. The suit keeps things sophisticated, while the shirt lets your personality break free. If you’re into more of a streetwear vibe, mix it up with white sneakers and a stylish hat.

5| The Nightlife Look

I.N.C. shirt, I.N.C. pants, Calvin Klein tank, Michael Kors belt, Calvin Klein shoes.

For a night out, you're more likely to get into the club by dressing up, but you definitely don’t want to look like you just came from the office. The answer is a sharp but low-key white graphic print button up. It’s polished enough to get you past the velvet ropes but edgy enough that it won’t look out of place inside.
