Long lasting isn’t a quality that you can usually ascribe to streetwearit’s fair to complain that the print and fabric quality of a lot of hyped labels out there can feel disproportionate to their price tagsbut then you also have names that have earned respect because of the longevity of their pieces like Carhartt.

Known for hard-wearing workwear, the label established their Work In Progress line in 1989 to adapt their rugged style with contemporary design. Aside from the sleek yet delightfully utilitarian pants and jackets we’re familiar with, they’re also dropping a Nike x Carhartt WIP collaboration that could very well contain your daily beaters for 2019.

Air Force 1 Utility Low

Camo Tiger Ripstop fabric makes up the body of this AF1 that swaps laces for a bold strap mechanism. P8,095

Air Max 95

Carhartt’s color accent of choice for the muted tones of the collection is orange, which is most visible on the AM95’s Zoom Air bubbles. P8,545

Vandal Supreme High

The OG Vandal was released in the early ’80s when the WIP idea was probably a rapidly growing twinkle in Carhartt’s eyes. Another core material, Dearborn Canvas, is used to swaddle this all-black hightop. P6,745

Air Force 1 Low

The collab’s second take on the AF1 is a Hamilton Brown version that lets you focus on its oversized pull tab for that utilitarian touch. P6,745

The Nike x Carhartt WIP collection drops today, December 12, at Commonwealth, Greenbelt 5.
