SEVENTEEN's Mingyu Stars in Calvin Klein's Fall 2024 Denim Line

K-Pop superstar Mingyu's sophisticated and versatile style, showcased through social media and public appearances, has garnered him a strong following. His participation in high-profile events like Paris Fashion Week and features on the cover of notable fashion magazines have further solidified the SEVENTEEN member's status as a style icon.

Now, he is heating up the fashion world as Calvin Klein unveils its new campaign featuring him in Fall 2024 denim.

In the campaign directed by AJ Duan and shot by Park Jong Ha, Mingyu is seen in the brand’s latest jeans, introducing new cuts and washes styled with classic logo tees, mixed wash denim layers, and sleek lightweight outerwear.

The 90s Straight Jeans are styled three ways: with the iconic Signature 90s Trucker and Modern Cotton Air Trunks; with the Archive Logo Relaxed Crewneck T-Shirt; and with the Monogram Logo Tee layered under the Twill Nylon Bomber Jacket.

For a casually cool look, the Standard Straight Jean is paired with the Modern Cotton Trunk, the Relaxed Denim Jacket, and the Archive Logo Zip Fleece Hoodie. A pair of dark 90s Loose Jeans paired with a mid-blue Slim Denim Shirt under a light Oversized Denim Shirt Jacket creates an effortless, oversized statement.

In an interview with Harper's Bazaar, Mingyu mentioned that he thinks his energy and confidence align well with Calvin Klein's image.

These days, he always finds himself reaching for Calvin Klein’s Signature 90s Trucker Jacket "because it works well with just about any outfit. For accessories, I’m into watches, sunglasses, and hats—they are great for adding a stylish touch."

The one denim he can't live without is Calvin Klein’s 90s Straight Jeans. "The fit and style are absolutely spot-on for me," he said in the same interview.

Given his daily workout routine, he leans toward casual, comfortable styles. "But I also enjoy switching up between athletic and semi-formal styles depending on the occasion, which I believe highlights the two distinct sides of my personal style," he said.
