H&M's Collab With Smiley Takes the Iconic Symbol and Gives It a Streetwear Twist
The counterculture symbol that is the Smiley is coming to an H&M near you. That's right, the Swedish retailer is partnering with the icon (literally and figuratively) to present an upbeat and vibrant streetwear collection. "As a youthful symbol of defiant optimism, the campaign feels upbeat and vibrant with highlights from the '90s. The collection is infused with full-on retro vibes, designed for both men and women," H&M said in a statement.
The collection has just about everything plastered with the Smiley. We're not even kidding: tie-dye hoodies, loose-fit denim, relaxed joggers, tees, rugby shirts, and sport socks will feature the symbol in a color palette of light purple, off-white, soft beige, and solid black. It's all very cool. The Smiley x H&M collab collection drops online and in-stores on November 30. Take a look below.
